Boca Chica Fishing Day Charters
Experience a world-class all-inclusive sport fishing day charter in the legendary waters of the Gulf of Chiriqui. Whether you would like to depart from your hotel’s dock or the Boca Chica public dock, we make the day seamless, comfortable, and unforgettable from start to finish. Your private charter includes an English-speaking captain and mate, premium tackle and gear, live bait, ice, bottled water, sodas, fresh fruit, chips, delicious sandwiches, and cold beer — everything you need for a first-class day on the water. At the end of the trip, our crew will also clean and fillet a portion of your catch for you to enjoy later. Our all-inclusive day charter rate is $2,175 per day for up to 5 anglers. Pickup is at 7:00 AM, with return typically between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM, allowing for a full day of fishing in one of Panama’s most productive fisheries. This is a true full-day experience designed for anglers who want the very best. We do not offer half-day charters.

Rates DO NOT include:
- Tips to Staff (Recommended Tips: Boat crews – $300 per day, per boat covers the Captain and Mate. If you feel they did a great job….tip more, it will be appreciated!)
Bringing Fish Home is Easy (and Your friends and family will love it!) .We will fillet, vacuum seal in 3 mm 10″ x 12″ bags, and freeze a portion of your catch. It’s just $15/bag and is perfect for traveling. We recommend you bring a Yeti Hopper type tote bag or small 30-40 quart cooler. Or you can buy one of our coolers we have available for purchase here at the lodge for $50 and $80.
Cancellation Policy
Due to our limited size, cancellations affect us greatly. Therefore, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy.
Payments made for your trip are refundable for cancellations received in writing at least 150 days prior to your arrival date at SFPIL, less a $650 per person cancellation fee. If you cancel your trip for whatever reason….150 days or less prior to your arrival date all payments made on your trip are non-refundable, and are non-transferable. If a situation arises where an ‘act of God’, travel ban, or pandemic that causes a cancellation of the trip we will reschedule within 12-months at no extra charge.
Cancellations due to Weather: If bad weather arises and your Captain determines that for safety issues the trip should not be taken – you will receive a credit for that day’s fishing on your next booking.
Fuel Surcharge Policy: We base our fuel costs in our packages at max of $6.00/gallon. A fuel surcharge will be informed to guests before arrival if the cost of fuel exceeds $6.00/gallon.
