BIG Cubera Snapper Panama!
We fished just one day here at Sport Fish Panama Island Lodge with returning clients David and Mary. They must of had fun staying and fishing with us the week prior because they were back again! I picked them up in Boca Chica and we made the 30 minute run out to the lodge on Isla Paridas. Our chef Mark prepared a fabulous dinner, they stayed the night, and fished with me on the “T.O.P Cat” the following day. We got lucky with real nice weather and smooth seas…unusual for being the height of the “rainy” season here in the Gulf of Chiriquí, Panama. And although the bite was a bit slow…we had a good time and released a couple of real respectable snappers! A 40# Cubera Snapper Panama and a 25# Mullet Snapper!
