April/2018 Panama Fishing Report – April 2018 our clients experienced some “National Geographic” Yellowfin Tuna action! An incredible month for fishing in the Gulf of Chirquí.   We also caught some impressive Marlin, Roosters, and Cubera Snappers.

We are the closest fishing lodge in Panama to the offshore action at Hannibal Bank and Isla Montuosa. A thirty minute boat ride (12 miles) from Boca Chica, and a one hour ride from David’s port of Pedregal, brings you to the largest island in the chain…Isla Paridas.  No big industrial commercial fishing operations, and governmental protection of all billfish are a few of the reasons why fishing Panama is so great.

April/2018 Panama Fishing Report con’t – In addition our island lodge is a place where those who do not want to fish can enjoy and have fun while the anglers chase marlin, tuna, wahoo, grouper and more?

If you want to fish Panama today, next month, or next year we are the closet lodge to the Hannibal Bank, Isla Montuosa, in this world class offshore fishery.

We take great pride in our fishing reports,  and it is always interesting to look back at the previous year.  This month however, we will let the pictures do the talking…..
