Nov/2018 Panama Fishing Report – We hosted 4 awesome groups the on the island in November 2018. Great weather as we are nearing the end of our rainy season.

We are the closest fishing lodge in Panama to the offshore action at Hannibal Bank and Isla Montuosa. A thirty minute boat ride (12 miles) from Boca Chica, and a one hour ride from David’s port of Pedregal, brings you to the largest island in the chain…Isla Paridas.  No big industrial commercial fishing operations, and governmental protection of all billfish are a few of the reasons why fishing Panama is so great.

In addition our island lodge is a place where those who do not want to fish can enjoy and have fun while the anglers chase marlin, tuna, wahoo, grouper and more?

Nov/2018 Panama Fishing Report con’t – The variety of what we caught was amazing! I counted 15 different species! Yes….check the pictures and count ’em! Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Pacific Sailfish, Dorado, Roosterfish, Needlefish, Almaco Jack, Mullet Snapper, Cubera Snapper, Blue Trevalle, Jack Crevalle, Rainbow Runner, Rock Snapper, Yellow Snapper, and Horse-eye Jack!

Special mention to our first honeymooners here at the lodge…Drew and Brittany Rhonehouse! They decided to come and consummate their vows to the fish Gods here with at trip to the lodge! And they slayed ’em!

Enjoy the pics….
