If you are visiting Panama and only have time for a private custom fishing charter, we can customize your day of fishing from dawn to dusk. Charters can leave from Boca Chica or Pedregal depending on your preference. Panama day fishing “hot” spots include Isla Secas, Isla Montuosa, Hannibal Bank, or inshore fishing among the “lost islands of Baru” in the Golfo de Chiriqui National Marine Park.
SPORT FISHING CHARTER BOATS
1) 33-foot custom center console sport fishing World Cat, T.O.P. Cat, powered by Twin Four Stroke Yamahas outboard cruises at 35 mph. Great for sport fishing charters for tuna, sailfish, and marlin to Hannibal Bank, Isla Montuosa, and Isla Secas. Also equipped for deep dropping. (Maximum 4 Anglers)
2) 26-foot custom center console sport fishing Sea Craft, Scandalous, powered by twin 130 hp Hondas. Great for the Islands trolling for sailfish, dorado, Wahoo and tuna fishing (Maximum 4 Anglers)
3) 33-foot custom open barge Burro del Mar, powered by twin 125 hp Yamaha outboard cruises at 20 mph. Great for inshore charter fishing around the islands of Baru and the National Marine Park for snapper, grouper, and roosterfish. (Maximum 6 Anglers)
CHARTER FISHING TACKLE
Gear is Everything. From Penn international 30-50w on Star shorts, Shimano Saragosa Reels, & AFT Reels, TLD 25s, Trevela Rods, Kristal Electric Reels- downriggers, outriggers, live bait rigging, dead bait rigging and special lure fishing – popping, jigging, high speed offshore trolling, planers, z-wings, and specialized patterns. Fly fishing charters are encouraged and fly fishermen bring your gear.
PANAMA DAY CHARTER FISHING
Panama day charter fishing trip costs or charter fishing prices include ice, bottled water, bait, fuel, 1st class fishing gear, (mostly Penn & Shimano rods & reels and some custom rods), use of lures & tackle etc. and all Panama Sport fishing guide costs.
Panama fishing charter rates are for 7 to 8 hours of angling with a Panama sport fishing guide, actual times depending on the tide and how early we start the day but usually from early morning into the afternoon.
